Behold😏😏… My newest artistic venture… Junk journaling!!! This entry is called “Beach fog hygh tide”!
I think I got inspired after some IG reel I saw of a person assembling their own junk journal. Being a person with 800 empty journals lying around and a whole lotta scraps and free time, I thought it’d be a fun little artsy project to get into.
Also being attached to the ball and chain that is my music taste that leans on obsession, I pair each entry with a playlist of sorts:3. This playlist is called “This and Tha at”🦔🤟 If you are on mobile, zoom in! If you are on desktop, whip out your mobile device and look at this on that thing !!!
The “junk” in junk journaling was not a lightly practiced term!! LOL!!

With the output of scrapbooking being a little rough around the edges, I enjoyed the kitschy, imprecise, and not entirely visually appealing look I can get. I also really enjoyed the playing around/experimental aspect of it:”) A good majority of the scraps here were accumulated from my recent coast trip, so I wanted to title it something connecting to the beach.
Tip for any shawties aspiring to junk journal/scrapbook: Hit up the book section at Goodwill Bins! Extremely affordable and has a hugely diverse selection!!
And as some bonus content to commence this cool new thing I’m into, here’s a cute lil playlist spread I found in this very journal I’m using😭😭 It was tucked away in the middle of it for some reason? I believe I was 13/14 here. Lots of the songs I recommended here are what I presume to be lofi beats to jerk off to. I was. Erm. Really really into “you suck charlie” era Joji at the time.
