Self-Love Does Not Exist
This was written sometime last year I believe. I plan to one day write something larger and more thorough on this topic because this is the core of my own philosophical beliefs. These beliefs also gave structure to my political ideas (…I’m an armchair communist with years long history of yelling at people on the internet. I’m far more tame nowadays doe).
I’ll try to elaborate on what I’m about to declare in the thing I plan to write, but I do not believe in “the Self” or “the individual” . I don’t think we are anything without other people. As I consider myself a person in longstanding recovery from trauma and clinical depression in my teenage years, developing this philosophy has really helped me see outside of myself, and outside of the misery I had put myself through.
Again….so so so much to say about this, but I just have to be patient until I can get my thoughts in order.
Happy pride month, happy men’s mental health awareness month. In my gooner fujo heart*…both of these things can exist because you can just get the men inflicted with “”””male loneliness”””” to touch each other or whtvr.
